About Tamara

Tamara grew up in Houston to relatively politically uninvolved parents, save the occasional soapbox tirade come election time. At 16, she worked for a law firm in the summer and was so stung by the legal bug that she set herself on a path she hoped would get her into law school. She joined her High School Co-op program and stayed on at the law firm for the next four years. This experience shaped much of her political viewpoint and opened her eyes to the inadequacies and rampant abuse of the political and judicial system we live with. Two years into college, she quit that job and said good-bye pre-law, hello English Lit. She never looked back. Today, she works part-time as a technical writer, takes care of two little ones, and writes whenever she can. You can also find her writing at Land of Tamara.
